By far the worst and most dangerous type of possession is a demon possession– that is to say a person who has a non-human spirit inside of them whose only goal is to mislead them and harm them.

Unlike a ghost possession a demon possession does not require the person whose body they are taking over to willingly allow possession, a demon can simply take control of anyone who’s been mentally compromised in most cases due to an addiction.

Demons feast upon the human soul draining it of its very life force till it’s nearly dead so that the demon does not have to worry about the host regaining control. Over time as the demon feeds its host becomes less and less control of the body until at some point the demon completely takes over.

You’ve probably seen television shows and movies showing exorcisms and that stuff is just a crock. There is only one way to remove a actual demon from a human body and that is the death of a host. You see were not talking about a singular demon because there is no such thing as a single demon when it comes to possession. You may successfully cast out a couple but a demon possession consists of an entire demon legion.

So at best all you do is cast out the dominant ones while the submissive slave humans remain which is why in most cases people who have been possessed and up dying as a result of whatever it is that opened the door to possession in the first place. I guess what I’m saying is you should view demonic possession as an illness it never truly goes away but by ordering the demonic entities out of your body every day you should successfully cast out any demon capable of gaining control of your body.

Real life demon exorcisms isn’t something that you can handle without someone experienced in this field. If you use someone who isn’t qualified more often than not it will just lead to the dominating demonic entity taking the hosts life. So I implore you before attempting to “Do it yourself exorcism” please seek out a skilled demonologist or at least someone who can give you a full outline of what to do.

The old boarded up Fort Shelby Hotel has stood abandon for over twenty years on Lafayette Street near the outskirts of Detroit’s business district.

For years it was shelter for homeless men who would find there way inside the building to find refuge from the brutal Michigan winters. For years the only tenant in the old hotel was the notorious Anchor Bar a favorite watering hole for reporters from the areas two newspapers. For years it had been known as a place where police, politicians, priests and pressmen could go for a cold beer, a greasy hamburger and place abet on your favorite horse race or football game.

A local street person who was known only as Moe found part-time work doing odd jobs at the bar. After leaving the bar in the early morning hours he would leave the bar and make his way to the rear of the hotel and enter the building through some boards that he had loosened.  Moe was a one eyed black man who’s face showed the results of years of drinking and living on the street.He was quiet and polite but he was often seen driving away other street people who might try to make their residence in the ruins of the old building. Sometime during the early 90’s some rotted plumbing gave out in one of the hotels basement levels and unbeknownst to the bar caused all of their sewage to flow out into the hotel basement.  For several years people that worked in adjacent buildings noticed and complained about the smell to city officials but it was blamed on sluggish sewers in the area. The bar itself was spared the odor because it was totally sealed off from the hotel proper.

During an unusually rare building inspection the startling discovery of years of human waste was discovered. They say that it was well over four feet deep. Inside one of the rooms they found the skeletal remains of Old Moe.  He did not drown in the sewage but it is suspected he became mired in the sludge as he came down a stairwell and could not free himself while in the dark and probably inebriated.  Strange as his death may seem the strange part of the story is that people that work in the area still claim to see old Jim walking through the alleys near the old hotel.  There are reports of seeing Jim late at night sitting in the alley behind the old Fort Shelby Hotel and some claim to have seen lights moving through some of the lower floors of the building.  Some even swear they have heard noises coming from inside the building.

The bar is has moved out long ago and the building is now well boarded and secure. Is it the city steam that pours from the manholes and pavement that people mistake for someone moving through the alleys or is it Old Moe still standing guard defending his turf at the old Fort Shelby Hotel.

Bloody Mary.

Two simple little words, yet they are so full of meaning. This short post is going to help sort out Bloody Mary the child’s game and urban legend from the real life demonic force behind this story. “Mary Worth” and “Bloody Mary” came from a slight mix up of characters from history. Mary I, Queen of England, or Mary Tudor, who reigned during the Tudor period, was also commonly known as “Bloody Mary”. Her nickname of “Bloody Mary” became attached to her when she violently executed and burnt people at the stake for heresy throughout her 5-year reign as Queen of England.

She also was unable to have children and suffered two phantom pregnancies; this is why it is speculated that the variation involving chanting “I stole your baby” became tangled up with the legend.

There is another suggestion that the name “Mary Worth” was derived from a victim of the Salem Witch trials.

However like most things that we are unable to handle mankind uses a story to convey bits of truth and as time passes these stories get stretched a bit further with each telling. So here’s the real story of Bloody Mary.

First of all the name isn’t Mary it is Merihim a demon. A small cult worshiped this demon in hopes of warding off a pandemic of disease. This cult tried to force Merihim to manifest by performing a raja-tama enriched ceremony that required mirrors, candles goat blood and a chant I will not list here. The ritual was nearly completed when Merihim awoke and if you know anything about demons they only like to manifest of their own accord. Merihim began lashing out with a plague hitting the cult members one by one till they died in pools of their own blood filled vomit. The “high priest” saw what was going on and used a stone to shatter the center mirror right before the ceremony was complete forever allowing Meriham to partially manifest from inside any mirror of his choice but unable to self manifest until somebody completes the ceremony.

So over the years it went from Merihim to bloody Merihim and finally bloody Mary.
