Friday’s all new episode. Zak, Nick, and Aaron will be at Pennhurst State, a school for the developmentally disabled, which was forced to close its doors in 1987 after numerous, heart-wrenching allegations of abuse and neglect.

Catch the episode premiere Friday at 9 PM E/P on the Travel Channel. “Ghost Adventures Live Postmortem,” a recap of last week’s live event, will air at 8pm before the new episode
Pennhurst State became infamous in the 1980s when word spread about the despicable conditions in which the patients were forced to live. Pennhurst was home to more than 3,000 mentally challenged, mentally disabled, and developmentally disabled patients. There are countless claims of abuse. This partly because while the local zoo was spending $7.15 on their animals per day on their wards, Pennhurst could only afford $5.90.

When Zak asked Dr. James Conroy (Co-President of Pennhurst Memorial) if there was ever sexual abuse at the school. Dr. Conroy replied, “Absolutely. Constantly. Every night.”

While the school was opened, there was a deafening sound from thousands of patients screaming. Today the sound of those screams has been replaced with a skin tingling silence. Needless to say, there is enough dark energy in this place to make your hair stand on end.

La Purisima Mission

Author: admin

Ghost Adventures crew is investigating the La Purisima Mission in Lompoc, California this Friday at 9 PM E/P on the Travel Channel. The La Purisima Mission is a former Spanish residence of padres, soldiers and the native Chumash. The area is beautiful, but the air around it is heavy with the tragedy of disease and war. At La Purisima, the sounds of flutes and the voices of the long-gone inhabitants are reported to still linger. Trapped within its white-washed walls, the spirits seem bound to this land, forever locked in their struggle with each other.

Q) What do you think of the current state the USA?

A) It’s doing much better now than when I was alive however I’m disgusted by the current political system which more often than not affords far too much power to complete morons.

Q) Who’s your favorite president not counting yourself?

A) I think I’ll have to go with Ronald Regan. The man kept the country afloat financially during his presidency with economic plans.

Q) Speaking of Presidents; if you were able to who would you vote for in the upcoming election?

A) It doesn’t matter. Your vote doesn’t really count. The entire election process is fixed and the winner is decided by big business. However if I was able to cast a vote I would choose Chuck Baldwin because Baldwin would eliminate the corrupt Federal Reserve.

Q) If you could have changed one thing what would it be?

A) I would have sent Al (my double) to the theatre the night I was shot.

Q) What’s something people don’t know about you?

A) I hate the name Honest Abe but it really helps when you bluff at cards.

Q) Ok, last question. What is your favorette thing about the “After Life”?

A) Well, there are two things I enjoy.

1) Fucking with George W. Bush. (I caused his pretzel problem)

2) Watching Jessica Simpson take a shower.

There’s a spot that is apart of the Lisheen Castle Haunted Ruins and not of the newly reconstructed castle that’s been responsible for some of  the most substantial evidence of supernatural happenings to this day. It’s known as the Debtor’s Prison. The debtor’s prison is the  part of the castle where the townspeople who owed the landlord money, would be cast into left to rot. They were given the chance to pay off their debt to the landlord only that was strictly up to the debtors family since the debtor or victim, was locked away and could not do anything. There was no food or water given to the debtor. They were simply locked away in that area and left until somebody paid their debt or they’d die.

I always knew that something was a little different about me and most people found it sort of creepy. You see I can see an entire world that most people are unable to a supernatural world full of spirits who wonder the earth. Many of these spirits are people who have once lived and passed on while others are “elementals” spirits who were never born.

I’ve been asked to tell my readers a little bit about my first experience with a spirit so I briefly go into that now. Many years ago I was sound asleep in my bed and I was woke up by the feel of someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and nobody was there. I went back to sleep and a few hours later the same thing happened. This time I stayed awake in my bed and heard someone saying my name. To make a long story short this spirit’s name was Walter and I was sleeping in his old bedroom. Over the years I was able to hear these spirits more and more til one day I was able to start seeing them.
